Parent and guardian involvement is critical for early literacy success (and the later academic success it enables). At Once, we've made a large investment in Printable Decodables which are precisely aligned to our scope and sequence and enable parents and guardians to support their children's independent reading every night. But first, parents and guardians need context on the Once Program, so they know what their children are learning and how they can help. Thanks to the help of our partners in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, our parent letter is now available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, French, and Russian, with more languages to come. We are grateful for CMS' support, and the power of this strong public-private partnership.
