Matt is walking barefoot on the beach that is covered with spiky seeds.  He gets mad when he steps on them, then he sits down and feels sad.  His best friend Sam comes by and gives him a pair of sandals. Matt is so excited he takes off in a flash.

When one student finishes reading the booklet, you can pass it on to the next student who is ready for it.  Or you can create one copy for each student and tell them that they can color the pictures when they finish reading it.
