Clever is Better. — Cycle 117+

Summary:

Aunt Gale gives Tiff the task of harvesting all of the corn by hand. Tiff gets frustrated at first because this could take all day. Then she thinks of a clever plan. She gets a big fan on one side of the crop, and a big basket on the other side. The fan blows all of the corn into the basket.  Her job is done quickly, all thanks to her brilliant idea!

In this imaginative retelling of the story, "Get That Corn!", students have a familiar story to help them transition to serif font.
